This actually reminds me of the Rebel King from the Dragon Kin series by G.A. Aiken. He turnes into an iron colored dragon and when human, his hair matches his scales. The irons have curled horns but are fire breathers like the southern dragons. I cant remember how, but when he started the rebellion agianst his Uncle, he lost one of his eyes. Anyways, thats who it reminds me of.

There is an error .. Rhys' hair is curly, not straight. he's the one who trains the most. is of short stature and he is very massive

As someone said, don't forget his curly hair, or that it was his left eye that was clawed out. As for the beefy comment. Rhys made up for being the shortest of the Sidhe guards by being the most heavily muscled of them all.
